Tow & transport

Accident Towing in Fate to Our Collision Repair Shop

After a crash, the right tow protects the car's drivetrain, battery and sensors. We arrange flatbed transport so your vehicle reaches the shop without picking up extra damage.

The Right Tow for Today's Vehicles

Not every car should be hooked up and dragged behind a truck anymore. All-wheel-drive systems, electric motors and low front air dams can all be harmed by the wrong towing method. Autobody Repairs Fate arranges flatbed towing that keeps the wheels off the pavement and the car level during transport. Your vehicle comes straight to our bays, which skips the detour through a storage yard. Once it's here, we photograph it, run a scan and start the estimate. Whether the crash happened along I-30 or out near McLendon-Chisholm, the process stays the same.

What Our Towing Coordination Covers

A good tow sets up a good repair. Here's what we coordinate on your behalf.

  • Wheels-off flatbed hauling

The whole vehicle rides on the bed, protecting AWD systems, transmissions and electric drive units.

  • EV-aware loading

Electric vehicles are placed in transport mode and winched gently, following the maker's towing guidance.

  • Low-clearance handling

Ramps and careful loading angles keep bumper covers, splash shields and front sensors from scraping.

  • Condition photos at pickup

The tow operator documents the vehicle's condition before loading, which helps your claim later.

  • Direct delivery to our bays

The car comes straight here rather than sitting in a storage lot first.

  • Keys and belongings logged

We note what's in the vehicle and keep your keys and personal items secure.

  • Policy tow coverage help

If your policy includes towing, we help you use that coverage and share the details with your adjuster.

  • Arrival scan and estimate

Once the car lands, a diagnostic scan and walk-around kick off the repair plan.

Shoulder to Shop in Three Steps

  1. 01

    Pin the spot

Let us know where the vehicle sits and what you drive. If it's electric, all-wheel drive or lowered, mention that so the right equipment gets sent. Expect a couple of quick questions on what got hit and whether police are on scene. Then we coordinate the tow.

  2. 02

    Load and transport

The tow operator photographs the car, loads it onto the flatbed and secures it at the wheels. EVs go into transport mode first. The car stays level for the trip to Fate. Keys and paperwork travel along with it.

  3. 03

    Check in and estimate

At the shop, the vehicle is photographed again and plugged in for a scan. A technician inspects the damage and starts the estimate. Your insurer gets the information it needs to open or update the claim. You hear from us with clear next steps.

Why Tow Straight to Our Shop

  • Fewer stops, less risk

Every time a damaged car is moved, there's a chance for more damage. Going straight to the repair bay keeps handling to a minimum.

  • Equipment that fits the car

Flatbeds and EV-aware loading respect the drivetrain and electronics on modern vehicles. The wrong hookup risks adding drivetrain trouble to a bodywork job.

  • One contact for everything

The tow, estimate, claim and repair all run through the same shop. You don't have to juggle phone numbers after a rough day.
