Filing a claim after a crash is stressful, and newer vehicles make the paperwork more detailed than ever. A single bumper replacement on a late-model SUV can involve radar calibration, parking sensor checks, a pre-repair scan and a tri-coat paint blend. Each of those needs to be documented for the insurer to cover it. Autobody Repairs Fate writes estimates with photos, procedure references and scan reports attached, so adjusters can see why every line is there. We communicate with your insurance company on supplements and keep you updated as the claim progresses. Texas law lets you pick the repair shop, whether the crash happened on SH 66 or while you were parked at a store in Heath.
Where We Pitch In on the Claim
The goal is a complete, accurate claim up front and fewer surprises later. Here's what we take on.
Photo-documented estimate
Every damaged part is photographed and listed, from the outer panel down to the clips and brackets.
Procedure references attached
Manufacturer repair steps are cited so the insurer can see why scans, calibrations or certain parts are required.
Scan reports shared
Pre-repair diagnostic results go to the adjuster to show the electronic faults the crash caused.
Working alongside adjusters
We work with field and desk adjusters on inspections, photos and questions about the repair plan.
Supplement handling
Damage uncovered once parts come off gets photos, a written note and insurer approval before anyone repairs it.
Rental and towing questions
We explain how your coverage handles towing and a rental car while yours is with us.
Third-party claim help
When the other driver was at fault, we guide you through their insurer's process and paperwork.
Plain-language updates
You get clear explanations of approvals, supplements and your deductible without the jargon.
From First Call to Closed Claim
- 01
Report and inspect
You open the claim with your insurer and bring the car to us, or we arrange a tow. We inspect it, photograph the damage and run a pre-repair scan. A detailed estimate goes to the insurer with everything attached. You get a copy and an explanation of each line.
- 02
Adjuster sign-off, then repairs
The adjuster reviews the estimate, and we answer questions or meet for a reinspection if needed. Once it's approved, repairs begin. Anything hidden that turns up is sent as a supplement with photos. You stay in the loop on each approval.
- 03
Close it out
After repairs, final scans and calibrations, we send the closing documentation to the insurer. Your deductible and any balance are explained clearly at pickup. Payment details between us and the insurer are handled on our end. You leave with the car and copies of the paperwork.
Why Our Claims Process Feels Easier
Documentation that holds up
Photos, scans and procedure references answer most adjuster questions before they're asked. That keeps the back-and-forth to a minimum.
Modern repairs, fully listed
Calibrations and scans are easy to leave off an estimate. We include them so they're covered, not skipped.
You stay informed
We explain what the insurer approved and why. No guessing about where the claim stands.
Claim Feeling Like a Maze?
Tell us your insurer and what happened, and we'll explain the next step in plain terms. You choose the shop, and we'd love to be it.
